Anime… I love anime… As most of my fellow colleagues know, I love anime with a burning passion in my soul. Animes that I have watched include Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball, Dragon maid, Citrus, Assassination classroom, and Avatar. Anime’s that I am currently watching are Naruto, Naruto Shippuden, One Piece, Radiant, and literally so much more. I started watching My first anime (technically not), Avatar, when I was a wee little boy (around 7 or so). It was on nickelodeon and I loved it so much. The second anime I’ve ever watched (and possibly the best) was also on nickelodeon, and was named Dragon Ball Z. It was full of action and plot and I thrived off of it. It has a sort of superman backstory, with the main character, Goku, being sent off an exploding planet to earth. Originally, Goku was evil but on earth he bumps his head and becomes good. From then on he meets new friends that teach him lessons about living on earth. He grows stronger with his Saiyan powers and has a goal to become the strongest in the world. I first watched that when I was 10. It taught me that strength comes from the heart and made me want to shoot Kamehameha’s out of my hands. Ever since then I’ve been watching anime on my own and discovered different ones and types. Types like action (my favorite), romantic, adventure, and etc. They started out being shown on Nickelodeon, then cartoon network, then netflix, then everywhere, really. People might I’m weird for it, sure, but It’s entertaining and a way to relax when the world around you is chaotic. It’s alo especially cool when random people you don’t even know bond with you about the references from a show. Also it gives me inspiration for life sometimes, whether not to give up, or do great at what you do and MORE. I’m also creating a comic book that I someday want to turn into a show or something. Anime gives me ideasyles, motives and art styles for the comic book. It also keeps me unique and teaches me a little about japanese culture. It actually makes me wanna learn japanese fully (even though it’s really hard because they have different symbols and things). I also want to go to Japan and see different references to things I see in anime. If you think I’m crazy then look to other of my fellow weeaboos (anime watchers) like Dylan Robillard, Gilliane Conklin, Brent Adamson, Nicole Pritchard, Michael Coffee, Peyton Mahon, Sam Bruton (a little), David Garcia, The Mr. Dereko, Jada Crowell, Lily Kate, Mollie Green, and etc. These statistics show that I’m not the only one. Whoever is reading this should definitely at least check out ONE whether comedy or not. It’ll be stupid at first but you’ll like at least one. Anime is an epidemic that’s spreading over America slowly and will take over; you might as well join now then be taken over later.
